What would you do? The selected person should be willing to perform such projects / tasks which provides them an overview of the work in the Treasury services area for retail business. Identified individuals should understand the client business, technology, process details and procedures. Typically, a resource would work closely with the business unit of the customer organization and provide them with financial accounting support (bank postings, reconciliations) and Treasury reporting support in a timely and accurate manner. The selected individual will also be responsible for managing the delivery team. Statutory Reporting & Tax Compliance involves preparation and filing of complex tax returns, prepares monthly/quarterly calculations/ workpapers, recording and reporting of tax transactions and effective tax rate reconciliation. Tax experience in Federal/ State/ International Tax returns Tax Process Design, OneSource experience and proficiency keyword includes:- ("Statutory Reporting","Tax Compliance" "Corporate Tax" Return",Federal,State", International Tax "State Tax Return" The process of generating source data and performing required analysis to support direct periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) tax filings, based on the client s interpretation of statutory and tax requirements. Examples include Corporate tax, Federal tax, etc.
What are we looking for? Qualifications: B.Com/ CA/ CS/ ICWA Commerce Graduate/Chartered Accountant/ ICWA/ CS/ MBA with 5 - 7 years of experience preferably in Treasury/ FS of which 1-2 of supervisory experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, be well organized, detail oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced changing environment. The position is multi-task and multi-system oriented, and the candidate must be flexible and be adaptable in an ever-changing environment. Good understanding and experience of executing / leading process transformation actions. Analytical skills. Customer focus.
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role, you are required to fulfil below responsibilities: - Ensuring seamless service delivery by team members meeting service level agreements and quality standards. Supporting the team, troubleshooting, and providing guidance on operational issues. Ensures compliance with requirements, policies, and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies, and governmental regulations, rendering opinions, and advising management on needed actions. Constantly be on the lookout for ways to enhance value for your respective stakeholders/clients. Guide, support, and work with other team leaders & team members. Prepare operating reports for clients and internal management. Share feedback and execute performance management actions. Execution of backup planning for all service delivery actions. Facilitate quality checks for the work performed by the team members. Participation in performance review/governance discussions with client. Support process improvement projects. •Ensure appropriate team structure is in place to support future growth. Make sure a robust succession plan is in place. Coordinate effectively with the support team, Client and the team members. Managing small teams (4-5 FTEs, as per requirement). Activity Monitoring / Challenges Ensure team is always fully aware of all the procedures and deadlines. Ensure operations are run in a risk-controlled environment with adequate checks and controls. Maintaining the standards of delivery consistently. Play active role in identifying and implementing process improvements. Ensure enough cover is maintained for all activities through cross training to eliminate key man dependencies. Ensure team is completing the tasks in the appropriate time. 121 with the team members to manage their expectations / performance. Unplanned leaves. Fluctuating volume. Day today issues. Core Competencies Knowledge of key markets rules. Awareness of key markets settlements. Good knowledge of the product (Securities settlements) and various market rules. Knowledge of Reconciliation process and systems. Good knowledge of Payments process. Understanding of Cash Management processes – Positioning, Forecasting Treasury accounting skills. Management reporting (Medium). Experience of leading operations teams will be of additional advantage. Proven experience in managing client’s expectation. Process transformation actions.
