What would you do? The Media / Graphics Lead designs and produces complex media (audio / video) or graphics used in the development of training assets. The Media / Graphics Lead develops cost estimates, determines resource requirements and schedules production. The Media / Graphics Lead delegates and oversees development by Media / Graphics Analysts, Senior Analysts, or contractors Media / Graphics Leads may specialize in graphics or media. It is not expected that a Media / Graphics Lead would be an expert in both areas.
What are we looking for? •Education: • Bachelors degree preferred in Communications, Radio and Television, Video/Film Production, Multimedia Design and Production, Art, Fine Arts, Electronic Arts related field or equivalent experience. Work Experience: • 3+ years hands on experience with audio/video production, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Flash. Work Requirements: • None Knowledge/Skills Requirements: Media • Proficient in audio and video production • Strong Media design skills • Mastery of media production tools (i.e., Adobe Premier; Adobe After Effects, Soundforge) • Must understand and comply with Accenture brand identity standards. Graphics • Proficient in graphic production on the Windows operating system. • Strong visual design skills (color, composition, typography, etc.) for on-line (internet) delivery and print. • Accenture brand identity standards and compliance guidelines. • Strong knowledge and ability of industry standard graphics software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.) • Knowledge of peripheral hardware (ex: scanner, color printer, removable storage, etc.) • Skilled in complex visual communication tools (ex: 2D animation, video, interactive authoring, etc.). •Resposibility contniue •Graphics • Design and produce graphics and/or animations (or supervise if this work is delegated) for, but not limited to, graphical user interfaces, information visualization, and learning activities. • Create interactive authoring such as Flash Animations (or supervise if this work is delegated) for re-useable, learning activities (e.g., multiple choice quizzes, drag and drops, etc.). • Interpret sponsor’s graphic requirements to maximize creativity and productivity; offer graphic solutions that support the project requirements or constraints. • Work with course developers to determine media scope, depth and focus • Develop cost estimates for graphic requirements for sponsor; communicate the status of projects to sponsor including total time estimate, time of completion, and outstanding issues. • Determine resource requirements; outsource projects/tasks to internal or external service providers as needed; obtain bids; schedule production; supervise outsourced work as necessary. • Create ‘Visual Approach’ document as requested by sponsor, including graphic and animation prototypes. • Perform Quality Assurance on graphics deliverables based on CDC media and graphics standards and provide feedback to team
Roles and Responsibilities: •Media • Design, build, and test media components of the capability enabler according to requirements and the project workplan • Coordinate pre-production, production, and post-production activities (resource and project planning, talent screening and selection, video shoots, etc.) • Assist in estimating and project planning • Oversee the media portion of a development project including overseeing vendor relationships • Direct the work of media developers on projects • Produce and direct (or oversee this work if using a contractor) simple to complex audio and video components • Capture, edit, and compress (or supervise if this work is delegated) simple to complex digital audio and video • Operate production and post-production equipment, hardware, and software • Create/modify (or supervise if this work is delegated) simple to complex graphics for use within video or animation files • Participate in actively identifying media related issues. Document new issues, participate in resolving them, and update documentation as issues are resolved • Perform Quality Assurance on media deliverables based on CDC media and graphics standards and provide feedback to team/media developers • Oversee usability testing and product correction • Oversee efforts to correct, enhance, tailor, and upgrade existing courses • Oversee and assist in issue resolution by utilizing all support resources available • Provide regular status to Manager and escalate issues as necessary • Contribute to knowledge capital regarding digital, audio, and video standards • Build and maintain professional network of video/audio professionals within and outside the firm • Understand and interpret firm technical standards and industry enabling technologies related to audio and video delivery
