What would you do? The Tag Testing Specialist is responsible for implementing, validating, and troubleshooting tags across digital platforms to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with analytics and development teams. Implement and validate tags for websites, mobile apps, and campaigns using tools like Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or similar platforms. Conduct thorough QA testing of tags to ensure proper data capture and alignment with business requirements. Collaborate with analytics teams to define tagging specifications and ensure accurate metric mapping. Troubleshoot and resolve tagging issues promptly to maintain data integrity. Perform exploratory analysis using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to verify tag performance. Document tagging processes, test cases, and validation results for transparency and compliance. Support integration of third-party tags for media tools and partner platforms.
What are we looking for? Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of tagging frameworks, data layers, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript). Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or similar tag management systems. Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and debugging tools like Chrome DevTools. Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, analysts, and marketing teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated tag testing tools. Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on tagging. Exposure to A/B testing platforms and personalization tools.
