What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.
What are we looking for? •We are seeking skilled and proactive Accounting Associates with expertise in managing OTC and P2P processes and good understanding of P&L and related reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with Program Managers, Uber Leadership, Suppliers Finance Teams, Suppliers Leadership, and other key stakeholders. This role involves process improvements, setting up processes from scratch, and ensuring compliance with financial and accounting standards. •Proven experience in P&L reporting, OTC, and P2P processes. •Strong understanding of GAAP standards and accounting principles. •Experience with contracts (B2B), financial forecasting, Rate & Invoicing processes and reconciliation. •Proficient in financial systems, understanding of Financial Reports and entries and tools; advanced Google Sheets skills preferred. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •A self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. •Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills. •Prior experience in a high-paced, dynamic environment. •
Roles and Responsibilities: •Manage and reconcile P&L accounts, OTC, and P2P transactions. •Collaborate with internal stakeholders (PgMs, Leadership) and external suppliers finance teams to ensure smooth operations. •Drive process improvements and establish processes from scratch to enhance efficiency and accuracy. •Review and interpret contracts, Statement of Works, Rate & Invoicing structures (B2B) to ensure financial and legal compliance. •Contribute to short-range and long-range financial forecasts •Maintain accounting books and ensure accurate reconciliation in compliance with GAAP standards. •Deliver timely financial reports and adhere to strict deadlines for invoice submissions. (All invoices to be prepared as per customisation by each stakeholder) •Familiarity with Client s operational or financial systems is a plus.
