What would you do? Assist underwriters with broker follow-ups on outstanding subjectivities, including Legal Agreements, Collateral, Premium, UM/UIM-PIP forms. Update systems as required. • Track premium booking and policy issuance to ensure LOB metrics are met. Escalate to Sr. UA, Team Lead, or account underwriter as needed. • Perform and apply knowledge of LOB underwriting rules and/or guidelines for pre-analysis support of submission in preparation for further analysis for quoting stage. Define Insurance policy and calucating premium including terms and condition for Property The Underwriting team focuses on raising investment capital from investors on behalf of corporations and governments that are issuing either equity or debt securities. The role requires a good understanding of credit analysis, creditworthiness, credit underwriting, credit appraisal memo, commercial lending, financial analysis, asset evaluation, and income calculation. The role may also need expertise around residential underwriting, mortgage underwriting, government-sponsored loans, and pre-purchase review.
What are we looking for? US/UK Insurance knowledge • Prioritizing – able to navigate and switch between multiple proprietary, vendor, web-based, and standard computer systems. • Microsoft Office – proficiency in Excel, Word and Power point • Learning Agility – willingness to learn from experiences and new situations. • Client Servicing – ability to anticipate client (internal and external) needs and act proactively. • Problem Solving – identify problems and solutions matched to the appropriate solutions. • Attention to Detail – demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
