What would you do?

The Healthcare Operations vertical helps our clients drive breakthrough growth by combining deep healthcare delivery experience and subject matter expertise with analytics, automation, artificial intelligence and innovative talent. We help payers, providers and government agencies increase provider, member and group satisfaction, improve health outcomes and reduce costs.

You will be a part of the Healthcare Management team which is responsible for the administration of hospitals, outpatient clinics, hospices, and other healthcare facilities. This includes day to day operations, department activities, medical and health services, budgeting and rating, research and education, policies and procedures, quality assurance, patient services, and public relations

In Pharmacy Benefit Management, you will be responsible for the business processes, operations and interactions of third party administrators of prescription drug programs, understanding of the processes used to manage programs for payers, process and pay prescription drug claims, develop and maintain the formulary, contract with pharmacies and negotiate discounts and rebates with drug manufacturers.

• In this role, you need to analyze and solve moderately complex problems

• You will need to hold monthly meaningful conversations with team members to discuss performance, coaching and feedback, training needs, and career discussions
• You will need to monitor & drive team performance, including throughput and quality as per defined metrics
• Your primary upward interaction is with a direct supervisor or team leads
• You will generally interact with peers and/or management levels with clients or internal stakeholders
• You will be provided with minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
• Decisions that you make often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams
• You would be managing medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.
