OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Quality Assurance Specialists responsible and accountable for:
• Provide support to QA Directors for opportunities and contracts as assigned. Support activities include assessment activities related to the contract, identification of risks and recommendations, draft QA documentation, ensuring key contract deliverables are ready for QA review, conduct in depth quality assurance reviews and other duties as assigned by the QA Director
• Provide expertise as assigned (by QA Director or Risk Management and Quality Leadership) providing insight into complex areas of a contract for the benefit of the QA Director
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for problem contracts
• Perform as a "Recovery Resource" on problem contracts during the Recovery Planning and Recovery as required
• Available to be leveraged as a resource (if available capacity) for Project/Program Management mobilization on complex contracts
• Develop and mentor people, act as a career counselor and create a high performing organization (foster relationships, resolve conflicts, etc.)
• The QA Program Specialist resources will be leveraged by delivery teams to:
o Provide early warning of execution issues
o Reinforce effective program, project and unit management
o Provide an objective review of adequate delivery discipline and rigor
o Focus on highest risk exposure throughout engagement lifecycle
• Manage and participate in special projects as requested by Leadership
• Develop and mentor people, act as a career counselor and create a high performing organization
• Manage QAD pool including QAD certifications, re-certifications and the assignment process
• Develop requirements for QAD capability development and the maintenance of QAD skills and expertise
• Driving reporting and analytics requirements for QAD management
• Collaborate with Growth Platforms on QAD workload balancing
