JOB SUMMARY
• Lead the finance delivery from AEE shared services hub for global stakeholders set across Controllership & other Groups.
• Taking ownership of Accounting & Reporting for specific or all processes at Entity level in compliance with corporate policies and processes.
• Provide Technical and domain knowledge to the team to ensure stability of all newly transitioned processes.
• Ensure adequacy/effectiveness of Financial controls both at Operational and Process levels.
• Delivering on P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliations, monthly/period closings, manage internal and external audit requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure sufficient input and support for the DU Lead/Managers for Month End/other period closings related activities & Controllership initiatives working in multiple time zones (supporting North America, LATAM, European Union, APAC, etc. Geographic Units for Accenture)
• Ability to grasp multiple complex activities from different processes (as key member) with wing to wing understanding of the entire process extending complete support to the next lead level.
• Demonstrate innovation with focus to improve process – enhance efficiencies and add value, ensuring quality consciousness in all operational aspects of the team.
• Extensive knowledge about financial control and reporting processes and accounting.
• Detailed understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet Reconciliations with detailed analysis, Quarterly reporting for supporting management & regulatory filings.
• Statutory Reports for Inter-Company loan transactions, transactions in foreign currency outside the business area/company code & complex data gathering for its presentation to regulators.
• Manage, review and sign off on internal & Sarbanes Oxley Controls ensuring sufficient evidence for all owned balance sheet & P/L accounts.
• Demonstrate some exposure to managing teams in the past with some core outcome.
• Self-motivated and capable of working effectively individually as well as part of a team
• Establish a strong culture of risk awareness and control, review and challenge, ensuring issues are identified and resolved in a constructive, open manner. Create and embed a culture of continuous improvement, using Lean, Six Sigma & other quality initiatives making it as “the way we work.
• Transitions management, focused Delivery excellence, effective communicator for process/policies & SLA reviews.
• Involvement in effective management of transitions of any additional finance processes & other mobilizations which includes developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation for all Controllership activities managed by the team.
• Takes personal responsibility for own and team performance and development and comply with corporate standards. Addresses conflicts or issues within the team in a positive and open manner and provides clear feedback to team members.
• Provide strategic direction to the team taking leadership. Partnering with managers & other leads to retain rich talent & control attrition.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Analytical Skills - Analyses complex situations by looking at multiple causes and effects.
• Customer Service Orientation Serves long term interests - Moves customer thinking forward, helping them understand issues beyond their day-to-day work.
• Relationship building for influence (Level 4) Maintains networks & plans impact - Plans an approach to have a specific impact, including taking bold, creative or unusual actions to make a point or get through to others.
• Team Working - understand team dynamics and to harmonize and synergize energies of the team.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Chartered Accountant qualification and 4-5 years post qualifying experience. Preferable SAP experien
