Digital Marketing Operations (Japanese Speaking)
Project Overview & Culture
This is a stable, long-term project focused on the operation of a major Japanese mobile application. We take pride in our efficient, remote-first environment and value the following team culture:
- Flat & Transparent Communication Our primary communication is via chat (Slack/Teams). We emphasize transparency and highly value proactive questioning and early reporting (escalation) of issues.
- Small but Solid Organization We are a compact team of 3–4 specialists. This allows you to focus on your expertise without internal politics. Every individual’s contribution directly impacts the project's success.
- Work-Life Harmony We offer 100% remote work with minimal overtime (approx. 5–10 hours/month during peak periods). This is a workplace where you can build a stable career while prioritizing personal and family time.
Key Responsibilities
- App Content Management: Update and manage app content using CMS and perform quality checks.
- Task & Schedule Management: Execute daily tasks meticulously to ensure all campaign deadlines are met on schedule.
- Communication: Provide regular progress updates and communicate effectively with the Japan-based team via chat tools.
- Escalation: Promptly flag any irregularities, potential delays, or questions to ensure smooth operations.
- Team Support: Support fellow team members during peak periods to ensure overall project success.
Qualifications
[Required]
- Japanese Language Proficiency: JLPT N2 level or equivalent.
- Ability to handle daily conversations and professional communication via chat (reading/writing).
- Focus is on accurate understanding of instructions and reporting status rather than mastery of complex honorifics (Keigo).
- IT/OA Skills: Proficiency in basic PC operations (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Work Ethic: Ability to follow established operational flows and complete tasks steadily and accurately.

- Experience living or studying in Japan.
- Basic understanding of Web/IT terminology (e.g., HTML/CSS concepts).
