As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing tailored software solutions to meet those needs. Additionally, the position requires performing maintenance and enhancements to existing software, addressing any issues that arise, and continuously improving application performance. Oracle Essbase / Planning and Informatica ETL Support Senior Developer
Skills Needed:
- Expertise in Oracle Essbase (21c preferred), including cube design, calculation scripts, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or Hyperion Planning.
- Expertise in Informatica ETL development and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of data integration between source systems and Essbase/Planning applications.
- Ability to manage month-end automation scripts, parameter updates, and admin-level changes.
- Shell scripting experience for automation and system tasks.
- MXL scripting experience for Essbase automation and data manipulation.
- Solid knowledge of financial planning processes and reporting requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Essbase.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- Strong knowledge of multidimensional database design and optimization techniques.
- Experience in developing and maintaining complex financial and operational models.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and data integrity.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline routine tasks and enhance system efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion Essbase.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
