Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of technical challenges, contributing to the overall reliability of business services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Compute Services.
- Good To Have Skills: Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure management and deployment strategies.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues in cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and failures.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline support tasks and incident response.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google Cloud Compute Services.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
