What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • Own and support month end and quarter end close for P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting • Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations in strict adherence to policies, procedures, and controllership standards; ensure timely resolution of open items • Review and approve journal entries in compliance with US GAAP and company financial policies • Perform P&L and Balance Sheet trend analysis to identify accrual gaps, mis codings, unusual movements, or risks prior to close • Partner closely with business teams on revenue, expense, and commission recognition matters • Coordinate with Group Controllers, Sub ledger teams, Tax, and other global stakeholders to resolve accounting issues Design and implementation of tools and processes which enable the client to perform financial analysis of its statements. Involves the ability to assess materiality and volatility of financial statement line items and key metrics utilizing financial ratios to determine the financial health of the company.
What are we looking for? • Lead and embed strong controllership practices, including review mechanisms, issue tracking, and process controls • Guide and mentor team members; oversee BAU reviews, address queries, and ensure quality deliverables • Support SOX compliance, internal audits, and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and responses • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics packs for management and stakeholders • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and change initiatives aligned to business and controllership needs • Support management with special projects, transitions, or remediation initiatives as required • Strong knowledge of Revenue Accounting and GL Accounting • Solid understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and close governance • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail • Ability to independently resolve issues with minimal supervision • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience in process improvement and change management • Strong reporting and financial analysis capabilities • Advanced MS Excel skills
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems • Your day to day interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors • In this role you may have limited exposure with clients and/or Accenture management • You will be given moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments • The decisions you make impact your own work and may impact the work of others • You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
