Key Responsibilities
Deliver Analytics: Conceptualize and develop complex analytics solutions for business operations, including dashboards, reports, ad-hoc operational analysis, and data models, leveraging an operational data lake and analytics tools, primarily Tableau.
Business Analysis: Work with business streams to frame business questions, gather process information, perform analysis, design visualization of results, and derive analytical models to meet business objectives.
Data Integration: Proactively identify and integrate new data sources and expand data models / definitions to ensure the availability of high-quality data for analytics purposes. Lead the end-to-end process including data governance, testing, and documentation.
Analytics Infrastructure: As a key-business stakeholder, work with IT and Digital teams to manage enhancements on tool integration to advance analytics capabilities, including requirements, testing, training and delivery.
Ops Analytics: Leverage data analysis to enable day-to-day operational decision making, maintain situational awareness, and respond to ad-hoc analytics requests from management with timely and high-quality delivery.
Partnerships and Analytics Projects: Act as a key business contact for internal and external parties and lead smaller data / analytics related initiatives within the business.
Data Quality: Ensure data quality through designing and implementing quality metrics & monitoring processes.
Data Governance: Navigate data governance and policy frameworks to ensure timely onboarding and integration of data with high quality and of value to the business unit.
Knowledge & Experience
Relevant degree in the field of data science, operations research, statistics, or other related technical background.
Minimum 3 years of working experience relating to data & analytics with a good understanding of operations, specific experience in logistics, airlines, or airports is a big plus.
Strong analytical abilities, numerate and familiar with statistical algorithms, ideally with exposure in developing optimization models.
Expert in using analytics & query tools with focus on Tableau and Tableau Prep, as well as data modelling techniques.
Proficiency in data visualization tools, ideally Tableau
Proficiency in scripting languages e.g., Python, SQL, SAS
Curious, meticulous, self-motivated and strong continuous improvement mindset
Working knowledge of agile delivery practices
Outgoing personality, able to build trust and strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
