What would you do? What are the key objectives and expectations from this role? To enable the end-to-end co-ordination and delivery (“stewardship”) of the conceptual design, definition, business rules, policies, access rights, tools, process, quality criteria and measurement for effective Ops Product global master data standards process, management and governance across client’s key information systems.
What are we looking for? Experience Required Solid experience working with appropriate information systems (SAP, BI etc.). in the field of product, supply chain management, technology or related subject. Highly IT, Supply Chain and SAP systems literate. Understand the criticality of tightly controlled data management and data quality. Excellent knowledge of the client business, data and product operating models. Proven competence in project management techniques and work prioritisation echnical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required Ability to identify, initiate and lead work on cross functional data issues. Strong relationship and interpersonal/communication skills. Able to deconstruct complex data issues and convey them in a business relevant format to key business stakeholders and forums with simple and clear messages. Proven influencing skills with stakeholders across the business functions and grades from non-management up to the Heads of Global Ops Functions. Highly numerate/analytical. Strong attention to detail. Rational, logical process-driven thinking and decision making. Decisive/determined decision maker. Structured, planned approach to work. Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent skills for prioritising multiple tasks, deadline-conscious, completer-finisher and customer service orientated. Strong indirect influencing and leadership to ensure standards adherence.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Accountable for the engagement and alignment of data standards and requirements with all relevant stakeholders. Analysis, definition and implementation, within budget, of new or changed fit for purpose data standards, using the Data Stewards process framework. Revision and consultation of business project requirements and its related documentation, in order to verify data standards adherence and identify new, or changes to existing, data standards. Ensure understanding and alignment to other functional standards (notably Finance, Brand Marketing and Operations) to ensure an overall consistent Group approach to master data standards management. Actively promote data standards / quality as a critical business asset throughout the organisation. Monitor and control the implementation and adoption (cleansing) of data standards. Act as the centre of excellence for the understanding and interpretation of data standards on behalf of the entire client organisation.
