Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery – collaborate with the Design/Consulting Leads to structure, plan and execute business design work on projects (ensuring business understanding and opportunity articulation/realization):

• Drive the Stakeholder understanding & strategy formulation within projects

• Analyze the market (competitor and target segment) and provide market insights for the design team

• Analyze the client business and build the business drivers for the project

• Analyze, evaluate and build the Opportunity/Business model for the experience/product/service to be created  

• Build and develop the positioning and value propositions for the experience/product/service to be created

• Work in collaboration with design team to integrate business design into experience/product/service design efforts

• Define the Operational Enablement needed to implement the created experience/product/service

• Develop the Channel and touch point model

• Collect and develop the Business requirements for the project to succeed

• Conduct Process analysis/design where required

• Contribute to the definition of experience/product/service roadmaps and blueprints

• Take the responsibility for the quality of business design and successful delivery of work in this area across various projects

• Lead and coordinate business design tracks independently or in conjunction with the other Design Leads

New Business Development – provide business consulting on pitches, workshops and other new business efforts as required, thus ensuring a strategic approach:

• Drive the Stakeholder understanding in business development efforts

• Own the storyline and content creation for strategy-focused pitches and new business presentations

• Lead and manage strategy heavy pitch projects

• Analyze market trends and client business to build business drivers and opportunity models

• Define the Organizational model needed to deliver the client project

• Work closely with, and be available to, the respective business development (Sales/GTM) teams in pursuing new business leads and converting client briefs into well-articulated design briefs

• Support the business development (Sales/GTM) team with strategic input, client meetings, presentations and proposal writing

Internal Initiatives – drive and cultivate the business design discipline and culture:

• Collaborate with the Design Team Leads to weave business design approaches into the wider Experience Design capability (and establish it as a core discipline) in the design team

• Train other Design Leads and designers in business design methodologies, tools and best practices  

• Foster knowledge sharing in Business design cross projects and to other consulting teams/capability areas
