If you're in your penultimate year of university, our immersive 3-week virtual scheme will show you what we do, how we do it, and how you could be part of it. The aim is to give you an insight into what life is like at the sharp end of business and technology. By the end of the scheme, you will come away with loads of valuable skills – and hopefully an offer to join us when you graduate.

The scheme’s start date is 30th of July 2021 and it ends on 20th August 2021. You’ll be immersed in a pro bono consulting project from day one. Intense and rewarding, this project will allow you to make your mark on a global business, while building connections with talented people across our organisation and making a difference to a client that really needs it. From the beginning, you’ll have a mentor who will provide useful tips and guidance on your work and career whenever you need it. You will be introduced to the business straight away and given a full 2-day workshop on how Accenture functions from our diverse range of colleagues that you will work with. Then, you’ll learn about the project you will be undertaking, receive a problem statement and be placed in teams where you will work towards a solution with guidance from the client and your mentors.

You’ll currently be in the penultimate year of study for your degree and be expecting to receive a bachelor’s degree. A strong communicator with great organisational skills and a real passion for IT, you’ll want to know more about how technology can make a real difference to business.

Applications are now closed. If you are interested in registering your interest for future opportunities, please click on the link below.

The programme is totally virtual, which means you can work from anywhere in the UK! You will have countless opportunities to network with your fellow interns, your mentors, analysts from across the business and will work in small teams, as a cohort and individually throughout your time on the programme.

That’s why we’ve launched our Empowering Futures series. This series includes three different initiatives aimed at encouraging Female, Black Heritage and Social Mobility candidates to discover Accenture and what we have to offer.

It’s our commitment to equality. Our answer to inclusion and diversity. And our invitation to society to stand alongside us.

Application process

The info you need to know about applying to an Accenture programme.

1. Online application

Applications for most programmes open in the autumn. To apply, you need to complete an online profile. You can only apply to one programme in any six month period but if you are unsuccessful you can apply to other roles.

2. Discovery portal

If you are suitable for the role, you’ll be invited to our Discovery Portal. This is an interactive experience and takes about an hour, but there’s no time limit. You’ll receive feedback within a few days.

3. Assessment Centre

If you’re successful at the Discovery Portal stage, you’ll be invited to one of our assessment centres where you’ll take part in a variety of activities designed to help us find out what your strengths are.

4. Technical Interviews

For some of our programmes, the final stage will be one or two technical interviews with managers from the specialist area you have applied to work in. We’ll give you lots of advice before your interviews.

5. Offer

Well done! If you’re successful in all the stages we’ll offer you a place on the programme and tell you your start date. If you don’t pass, we’ll give you the opportunity to get feedback.

6. Onboarding

Three months before your start date, we’ll ask you to provide evidence of your academic results and two references. We’ll then send you details of your training week where we’ll welcome you into Accenture!
