As a team:

Working at the forefront of multiple industries, our architecture team leads the design and delivery of some of the largest, most complex, and highest-profile technology transformations in the world. We bring together deep cloud, platform, OpenShift, business, and industry expertise to set direction, solve critical challenges, and deliver architectures that scale, endure, and create real impact.

In our team, you will:

  • Lead and shape conversations with clients, defining and driving solutions to real-world problems through a blend of cloud architecture, platform engineering and hands-on OpenShift expertise across public, private and hybrid cloud environments
  • Set the technical direction for cloud and OpenShift platforms, influencing decisions at scale while being backed by industry-leading training, certifications, and structured coaching and mentoring programmes.

As an Architect, you will:

  • Drive Strategy & Modernization leveraging Redhat OpenShift Technology : Partner directly with clients and our partner ecosystem to translate business goals into technical requirements, defining target operating models and modernization roadmaps across cloud, containers, virtual machines and legacy estates.
  • Champion Performance, Resilience & Efficiency: Proactively identify and address consumption, scalability and operational challenges. Define disaster recovery and recovery orchestration models, and champion full-stack observability, SRE and AIOps across cloud and OpenShift platforms.
  • Ensure Robustness & Security: Own the design of highly available, fault-tolerant and secure enterprise platforms. Apply Zero Trust principles across identity, networking, workloads, namespaces and multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
  • Lead Platform Architecture & Governance: Define OpenShift platform standards covering GitOps, multi-cluster management, Policy-as-Code, platform lifecycle management, networking, segmentation and OpenShift Virtualization.
  • Manage & Mentor: Lead teams of architects and engineers, providing technical coaching, career counselling, performance management and architectural governance to elevate technical excellence.

We are looking for experience in the following:

  • Strategic Cloud Architecture: A strong command of software and platform architecture, with the ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes such as total cost of ownership, resilience, speed to market and modernization value.
  • Advisory & Technical Leadership: The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, manage senior client relationships, explain architecture decisions and trade-offs, and provide clear direction to architecture and engineering teams.
  • OpenShift Platform Architecture: Strong hands-on experience designing and operating Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in large enterprise or regulated environments, covering platform engineering, automation, governance and lifecycle management.
  • OpenShift GitOps & Multi-Cluster Management: Deep experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management, Argo CD and OpenShift GitOps, including multi-cluster operating models, Policy-as-Code, configuration governance and platform lifecycle management.
  • OpenShift Virtualization & Modernization: Experience with OpenShift Virtualization and KubeVirt, including platform standards, VM lifecycle management, workload onboarding, application containerization assessment and VMware-to-OpenShift migration strategies.
  • OpenShift & Kubernetes Networking: Strong knowledge of OVN-Kubernetes and Kubernetes networking constructs including Services, Ingress, Egress and Network Policies, plus hands-on experience with Multus and secondary network architectures.
  • Segmentation, Multi-Tenancy & Zero Trust: Experience defining namespace isolation, multi-tenancy, micro-segmentation and Zero Trust networking patterns for container and VM workloads, including translation of VMware NSX Distributed Firewall policies into OpenShift-native controls.
  • CNI & Software-Defined Networking: The ability to assess and justify networking approaches using technologies such as OVN-Kubernetes, UDN/CUDN, Cilium or Calico, based on workload, security, supportability and operational requirements.
  • Architecture Delivery: Proven ability to create high-quality HLDs, LLDs, architecture decision records, reference architectures, platform standards and governance artefacts, supported by strong stakeholder management.
  • Agentic AI Curiosity: A genuine interest in Agentic AI and the opportunity to apply intelligent automation to platform engineering and operations. Experience may come from client delivery, prototypes, personal projects, training or independent research.

What will set you apart:

  • Red Hat certifications in OpenShift, Advanced Cluster Management, GitOps or OpenShift Virtualization, such as DO280 or EX280, or equivalent Kubernetes and cloud platform certifications.
  • Experience in financial services, government or other regulated industries, with an understanding of governance, security and operational resilience expectations.
  • Familiarity with Policy-as-Code technologies such as Open Policy Agent or Kyverno, and CI/CD pipeline integration with GitOps workflows.
  • Engineering or development experience working closely with delivery teams to ensure architecture decisions are implementable and delivery expectations are realistic.
  • Personal or open-source repositories, prototypes, accelerators or reference architectures that can be used during interview to explain decisions through diagrams, ADRs and code samples.
