Customer Strategist & Nordic Sustainability Innovation Lead

My role at Accenture is twofold. I work as a Customer Strategist with digital marketing, loyalty management, and marketing technologies to help businesses automate and personalize journeys and experiences for customers and users of a product, a service, or a brand. Thus, I am supporting businesses in making sure that their customers and users are getting the most engaging and purposeful experiences when they interact with the brand. As a Sustainability Innovation Lead in the Nordics, I am also creating opportunities for our employees to participate in impact work by using their skills to innovate on social or environmental challenges. I am enabling my colleagues to innovate for a good cause i.e., by solving technological challenges within regenerative farming or designing experiences for people with mental health issues.
I love when our clients and partners have big ambitions – and, luckily, most of the organizations that we work with have innovative, creative mindsets that allow our projects to expand in many different directions. One of my recent projects was a research project within grocery retail to understand the current loyalty landscape, customer desires, and future retail experience - all in the wake of the pandemic. Being a true learner, I enjoy the process of researching and studying perspectives so having time to deep diving into customer behavior, motives, and needs, as well as the Nordic grocery retailers’ offerings, were exciting and very insightful to me. Bringing these insights to our retail grocery clients in the Nordics to support them in accelerating and excelling makes my day. During the day, I normally have a few check-in meetings either with my project team or with my manager to make sure that the initiatives that I am driving are on track. I always make sure to schedule work sessions with my colleagues if I need input instead of taking it over mail or Teams. I enjoy the feeling of discussing challenges with both my team and experts within other areas of expertise like AI or technology strategy whenever it makes sense. Accenture has incredibly many great resources to use and discover, and I learn something new every day. Everything is something I – during a day – accumulate and use in my work; knowledge and curiosity are key in what I am doing.
In my spare time, I like to work out in the gym or go for a run to clear my head. I also really enjoy exploring the city of Copenhagen, finding new restaurants, and discovering all the hidden gems. My guilty pleasure on a Sunday would definitely be to watch nature documentaries. I just love the beautiful imagery and calm voices showing nature at its best.
Working in Accenture Interactive provides me with the most amazing opportunities to meet a diverse range of people.
