Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components and designing solutions tailored to client needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple parts of the software to ensure functionality and reliability. Additionally, the position requires performing maintenance and implementing enhancements to improve existing systems, often collaborating with different teams to align development efforts with project goals and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
- Familiarity with coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to work with multiple clients and adapt to varying project requirements.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
