What would you do? Responsible for repeatable, predictable and measurable operations which includes but is not limited to the following: Detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager with a strong background in managing end-to-end payroll operations. Skilled in ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Adept at leading payroll teams, implementing process improvements, and collaborating across to support organizational goals. Have significant supervisory knowledge in a relevant field, are accountable for operational direction of a complex or large function, have a higher professional qualification and have client stakeholder experience. Payroll involves managing and overseeing all aspects of the payroll process, from input submission to employee payout, with the goal of ensuring accurate and timely employee and statutory payments. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong stakeholder management
What are we looking for? •Education qualification: Graduation Escalation and resolution point for team members with regards to people related queries. Liaise with local Human Resources Team on critical issues. Communicates clearly and concisely, using appropriate level of detail, terminology and style. Retain talent and establish growth path for valued resources. Liaise with local Human Resources Team on critical issues. Team alignment and work allocation within Team. •Role Specific Experience: 5+ years of Payroll Manager Experience •Payroll Payroll Systems and CRM/Workflow tools MS Office Email Writing Skills Problem solving skills (Analytical skills / Collaborative thinking/ Adaptable to change) Verbal Communication: Sentence Mastery, Vocabulary, Fluency, Pronunciation Customer Service Skills Ensure that the Team is adequately staffed and resources have the right skills required for the job. Liaise with OADM, Accenture Leadership, Recruitment and IJP Teams on staffing requirements. 2. Provide team members with a clear sense of direction and understanding of each other’s responsibilities including career planning and succession planning. 3. Ensure a robust measurement system to substantiate performance evaluation of team members, recognizes and rewards individual and team accomplishments. 4. Conduct/Support Training for regional teams and on-board new team members on all areas of HRO operations and including: Controls & Compliance, Business Continuity Plans, process analysis and customer service. 5. Enhance team moral and engagement level thorough team bonding exercises and activities. Liaise with local PPA’s and Human Resources Team on driving key People initiatives. 6. Ensure team is aware of their Goals and how their performance will be evaluated. Ensure that teams are able to explain the process.
Roles and Responsibilities: •Payroll Management 1.Oversee and process payrolls for all employees on a regular schedule. 2.Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll regulations. 3.Conduct audits, reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies promptly. 4.Address employee payroll inquiries and ensure timely resolution. 5.Maintain and optimize payroll systems and software. 6.Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation, benefits, and reporting. Operational Excellence & Process Governance 1.Drive operational excellence within the team and support OE focal initiatives. 2.Liaise with the Operational Excellence team to implement best practices. 3.Raise quality and scope issues that may impact delivery and streamline decision-making processes. 4.Ensure process dashboards and visual management displays are reviewed and kept up-to-date. 5.Actively participate in internal and client business meetings, both in-person and virtually. Metrics & Performance Management 1.Maintain a clear understanding of existing process metrics (SLA, OLA, KPI). 2.Improve measurement systems to enhance transparency and effectiveness. 3.Liaise with the Service Management team to report performance measures to clients. Risk & Continuity Planning 1.Ensure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans are current and tested periodically. 2.Collaborate with the BCM team and Local IT for testing and issue resolution. 3.Escalate complex issues and seek guidance when necessary. Project & Team Leadership 1.Create logical plans, realistic estimates, and schedules for activities or project segments. 2.Document progress, issues, and agreements thoroughly and ensure follow-through. 3.Supervise payroll staff and provide ongoing training and support. 4.Support knowledge transfer for new processes or clients and acquire in-depth process knowledge. 5.Assist the team with root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Technology & Client Engagement 1-Liaise with Accenture Local IT to escalate and resolve technology issues.Participate in and support client visits and engagements as needed.
