Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in HR processes and end-to-end configuration of HCM platforms, with a focus on UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and UKG Ready HR Suite capabilities. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to design, configure, optimize, and support HR solutions that improve employee and manager experiences while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end HCM configuration and optimization within UKG/UKG Ready to support core HR and talent processes.
Translate HR business requirements into system design, configuration, workflows, and business rules.
Configure organizational structures (legal entities, business units, departments, jobs, positions, reporting relationships) and maintain data governance standards.
Set up and maintain benefits plans and eligibility rules; support open enrollment preparation and testing.
Configure performance and compensation processes (goals, review forms, calibration, merit/bonus cycles) and support cycle execution.
Support Learning Management System (LMS) setup and administration, including courses, assignments, and reporting.
Develop and maintain HR reporting and people analytics outputs (dashboards, metrics, standard/ad-hoc reports).
Support compliance-related configurations and reporting (e.g., ACA; Mexico equivalents such as IMSS, statutory benefits, and eligibility rules, as applicable to the deployment scope).
Plan and execute testing (unit, integration, UAT), troubleshoot issues, and coordinate defect resolution with IT and vendors.
Create and maintain documentation (configuration workbooks, process maps, user guides) and deliver end-user/admin training as needed.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in Human Resources processes and HCM/HRIS implementation or configuration (preferably UKG / UKG Ready).
Functional knowledge in one or more areas: HR Core (Employee Data/Employee Central equivalent), Benefits Administration, Performance & Compensation, Learning (LMS), People Analytics/HR Reporting.
Experience configuring end-to-end HCM solutions, including organizational structures, workflows, and business rules.
Ability to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and communicate effectively with HR, Payroll, IT, and business leaders.
Advanced English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ACA configuration and reporting (or similar regulatory compliance requirements in other jurisdictions).
Consulting experience supporting multi-country HR processes (e.g., Mexico: IMSS, statutory benefits, and eligibility frameworks) depending on project scope.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, reporting, and HR metrics.
Experience supporting hybrid teams and managing stakeholders across time zones.
