You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP systems. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.
The work:
The SAP SCM Planning Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions. This role focuses on planning processes that balance supply and demand and optimize end‑to‑end supply chain performance across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics environments.
The Lead works closely with client stakeholders, SAP architects, and cross‑functional delivery teams to deliver scalable planning solutions aligned with SAP best practices and Accenture delivery standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP SCM Planning solution design and delivery, including configuration, testing, cutover, go‑live, and stabilization
- Own planning processes including:
- Demand planning and forecasting
- Supply network planning (SNP)
- Production planning and scheduling (PP / PP‑DS)
- Available‑to‑Promise (ATP / GATP)
- Translate business planning requirements into SAP S/4HANA or SAP SCM/APO functional solutions
- Lead Fit‑to‑Standard and design workshops with client stakeholders, driving process standardization and solution alignment
- Provide functional leadership to onshore/offshore teams across design, build, and test cycles (SIT, UAT)
- Collaborate with cross‑module teams (MM, PP, QM, WM/EWM, TM) to ensure integrated end‑to‑end planning solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to client and internal leadership on SAP supply chain planning strategy and roadmap decisions
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning solutions, including SAP SCM / APO and/or SAP S/4HANA Planning
- Proven experience delivering SAP planning implementations across demand, supply, and production planning
- Experience leading full lifecycle SAP programs, from discovery through deployment
- Ability to interact with senior client stakeholders and influence solution direction
- Eligibility for Secret Security clearance is required
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Bonus Points if:
- Experience with PP‑DS, SNP, or IBP
- Exposure to manufacturing or complex supply chain environments
- SAP planning‑related certifications
- Experience working in public sector or regulated environments
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
