Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are addressed promptly, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, while monitoring progress and providing insights through relevant metrics to support continuous improvement and successful delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting processes to enhance team performance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Agile Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ability to identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
- Skilled in using Agile project management tools to track and report team performance and project metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Agile Project Management.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
