Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and user feedback to maintain service reliability and support business continuity effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and support efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Enterprise Network Operations.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure components and their impact on application performance.
- Experience in monitoring and managing enterprise-level network operations to ensure high availability.
- Ability to analyze logs and system alerts to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
- Familiarity with incident management and problem resolution methodologies within network operations.
- Skilled in coordinating with multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations.
- This position is based at our Thiruvananthapuram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
