Job Summary: 


Assistant Payroll Consultant will provide support to in-country HR, Finance and payroll managers within the client´s subsidiaries in scope.  The APC will function as Contact Bridge between client and the Payroll Processing Vendors. APC will function as the escalation point for a cluster of client´s countries in respect of the delivery of:



Payroll Service Delivery & Payroll Inquiry Management


Continuous Improvement & Change Control


Relationship & Compliance Management 



Key Responsibilities: 



Role Accountability:



Single Point of Contact/ Relationship Management


Act a single point of contact for in-country client´s Payroll, HR and Finance managers for payroll related queries


Directly interact with the client´s Payroll Managers on a business-as-usual basis for all matters relating to Payroll Services for the cluster of assigned countries


Report on status and performance in conjunction with the Payroll Managers for the cluster of assigned countries 


Be owner of regular payroll meetings with both Client and the Payroll Processing Provider


Be owner of monthly payroll service review meetings with both client and the Payroll Processing Provider


Provide day to day relationship management of Payroll Provider for the provision of the Payroll Processing Services, and promote a successful working relationships between client and the Payroll Provider(s)


Participate in, and represent client’s interests in, Payroll Provider(s) performance reviews, steering committees and global payroll service reviews relating to the governance of the Payroll Provider(s) Services


Facilitate the resolution of issues between client, Accenture and Payroll Processing Vendors


Understand the contract inside out, be able to determine when an issue requires a change request


Act as change owner in change request process; i.e. act as Payroll stakeholder on behalf of client for change requests, project work orders and global payroll service reviews initiated under the Payroll Provider(s) Agreement and manage payroll change requests and call offs initiated under the Payroll Provider(s) Agreement through the agreed process.


Provide project management support to ensure Payroll Provider(s) progress against timelines and budgets agreed with client (generated under approved change requests and project work orders initiated under the Payroll Provider(s) Agreement)





Service Delivery & Management


Oversee the timely (in line with the payroll calendar cut off dates) and accurate payroll administration service delivery for the cluster of assigned countries


Proactively communicate & facilitate the resolution of issues including the root cause analysis


Act as the primary escalation point on Service Issues for the cluster of assigned countries


Conduct service reviews for end-to-end payroll service delivery


Perform a high-level view of payroll administration data for obvious errors, omissions and inconsistencies


Act as a point of contact for the performance of general Payroll escalation issue management, and facilitation of resolution between client and the Payroll Provider(s)


Report Payroll Provider(s) metrics and SLAs within the standard monthly reporting pack


Monitor Payroll Provider(s) performance against quality and SLA’s and provide operational and SLA reporting


Escalate country specific issues relating to the Payroll Provider Services to client´s senior management


Proactively communicate on payroll administration issues with all stakeholders



Continuous Improvement & Change Control


Drive the continuous improvement for cluster of assigned countries


Support project during transition and ongoing service delivery


Identifying potential changes to Services and capture these changes – in close cooperation with the Payroll Managers 


Consolidate the tracking and reporting of proposed and in-flight transformation initiatives for the cluster of assigned countries


Coordinate and schedule regular process transformation reviews



Compliance Management


Support the adoption of Payroll process standards and procedures defined by the client, and monitor Payroll Provider(s) compliance


Proactively engage with client´s Payroll Manager on issues concerning payroll compliance, in case of escalations provide root cause analysis


Manage the completion of compliance documentation as defined by client, make sure that payroll controls are adhered by all parties 


Support the execution of internal or external audits and payroll compliance reviews as defined by the client




Ad-hoc Requests


Respond in a timely manner to Ad-Hoc payroll admin requests from the client and Payroll processors based on the approved change requests (where required)


Qualifications:



Education:    High school degree level acceptable


Language:    Fluency in English and one Service Delivery Language (advantage)



Work Experience:  3+ years of relevant experience from HR admin or Finance admin area



Knowledge/Skills Requirements:



Strong displayed problem solving and analytical skills


Experience in Service Performance reporting (SLA, KPI) and Operational Excellence


Stress resistant


Leadership/Organizational abilities


Experience of HR Operations is desirable


People Management experience


Understanding of Business Process Outsourcing


Good communication skills (written and verbal)


Self-Motivated, positive attitude and approach




Client Specific Requirements (if appropriate):



Excellent MS Office skills (Excel)


Language and skill level – Fluency in English and one other European language related to service delivery (advantage)


HR admin – 3+ years of experience (advantage)
