Summary
The Virtual Commissioning Lead will be responsible for leading virtual commissioning activities, guiding engineers, and delivering high-quality automation and controls validation solutions using digital twin and virtual commissioning tools.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Virtual Commissioning (VC) activities for manufacturing and automation projects.
Develop and review virtual models for PLC, robotics, and automation systems.
Perform logic validation, sequence testing, and interlock verification.
Integrate PLC code with virtual plant models for offline testing.
Mentor and technically guide Virtual Commissioning engineers.
Own test strategy, validation approach, and defect closure.
Communicate VC results to stakeholders and customers.
Support scope definition, estimation, and delivery planning.
Required Experience & Skills
5–9 years of experience in Virtual Commissioning / Controls Simulation.
Hands-on experience with PLC programming and debugging.
Experience integrating PLCs with virtual/digital twin models.
Strong understanding of automation systems and control logic.
Experience leading small teams or technical workstreams.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Info:
Candidate should have a minimum 7.5+ years of experience.
