As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business processes, contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of the technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Continuously monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks.
- Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with data integration and processing within cloud-based environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system issues.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
