As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project stakeholders, coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. The position demands a proactive approach to managing project timelines, resolving challenges, and continuously improving application functionality to meet evolving business needs. Collaboration and communication are key, as the engineer navigates complex technical environments to drive successful project outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables effectively.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to enhance software quality and reliability.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues within automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes to streamline testing workflows.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
