About the Role 

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, service-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate multiple pay-frequency payroll cycles for Canadian employee groups, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Complete and review audit reports to confirm accuracy, reasonability, and alignment with internal standards.
  • Provide responsive customer service for colleague/employee life-cycle inquiries related to payroll
  • Develop and apply knowledge of relevant payroll legislation, regulations, policies, and union agreements across Canada
  • Identify, analyze, and recommend process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Support additional activities as required.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A University degree or College degree in a related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll administration
    • Bilingual in French and English, strong communication skills, written and verbal in both languages

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Worked in a large, multi-national organization with Canadian operations.
    • Understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
    • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, or equivalent experience.
    • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review information carefully and recommend practical solutions.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Experience with Workday Payroll, and time and attendance systems such as STAS, Kronos, or Workday.
    • Demonstrated discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive colleague information.

    role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
    employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

    The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
