Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code for multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements, ensuring that the software meets client needs and adheres to quality standards. You will also participate in problem-solving sessions, contributing your insights to improve application functionality and user experience. Your role will require you to stay updated with industry trends and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience with application testing and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
