You Are:
A highly skilled SAP Developer with deep hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP Development and Core Data Services (CDS) for S/4HANA, who is comfortable working in complex, regulated environments. You bring strong technical judgement, attention to quality, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with architects, functional teams, and client stakeholders.
The Work:
Perform hands-on SAP ABAP development for S/4HANA, including enhancements, exits, and technical build activities.
Design, develop, and optimize CDS Views (Basic, Composite, and Consumption layers) to support analytical reporting, Fiori apps, and OData service exposure.
Develop and support SAP Fiori applications, leveraging CDS-based OData services and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) model patterns where applicable.
Build and maintain VDM-compliant CDS artifacts, including associations, annotations (UI, Analytics, OData), and access controls (DCL).
Assist with SAP PO/PI and API-based integrations.
Collaborate with SAP architects, functional consultants, testing teams, and client stakeholders.
Adhere to development standards, security requirements, and delivery timelines.
Support testing, defect resolution, and stabilization activities.
This role requires in-office presence in the local ATC office 3 days per week.
Here's What You Need:

Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline

Minimum 2 years of SAP implementation or transformation experience.

Minimum 2 years of ABAP development in the context of implementation, application outsourcing, or transformation.

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience developing CDS Views in an S/4HANA context (Basic/Interface/Consumption views, annotations, associations).

Minimum 1 year of experience with Fiori and/or UI5.

Must hold Canadian Secret Clearance or be eligible to obtain clearance prior to start.
English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our Global Enterprise. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Bonus Points If:

Experience with the RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) for building transactional Fiori apps end-to-end.

Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA or Embedded Analytics leveraging CDS-based data models.

Experience supporting defense or government clients.

Strong troubleshooting and defect resolution skills.

You can grasp a solution, talk about its business objective, and configure the solution and tools.
