You will be instrumental in designing data structures that support analysis for business intelligence, ultimately empowering data-driven decisions across the organization. A key responsibility will be the efficient design and development of the Data Model.

You Are:

  • A strong collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams and enjoys interacting with diverse stakeholders.

  • Focused on building strong relationships, possessing excellent communication skills to influence, gain buy-in, and provide clear guidance.

  • An excellent communicator, capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including Enterprise Architects and analytics professionals.

  • A transformational leader who proactively shares ideas, champions best practices, and helps elevate the skills of the team.

  • A strong advocate for Data Governance principles and actively contributes to their implementation.

  • Hands-on experience with traditional RDBMS such as MSSQL or Oracle databases.

The Work:

  • Take ownership of the design of data models, marts, and semantics for key business areas

  • Develop and maintain documentation on the data architecture, models, marts and semantics.

  • Balance conceptual architecture work with hands-on modelling in Oracle/AWS

  • Provide support and guidance to the development team during build and testing of the model

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum of 5  years of experience in data architecture and modelling

  • Minimum of 5 years in creating and optimizing data models and database schemas.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Certifications from a cloud service provider in Cloud Architecture, Data Architecture, or BI/Analytics

  • Experience with Oracle tools (i.e. Sql Modeler, ORDS, APEX)
