We Are Hiring:
Security Engineer  
What Will Your Role Be:
The responsibilities of the security engineer will ensure that our applications, services and infrastructure are designed, implemented and secured to the highest standards thus maintaining and enhancing customer’s trust. He/she will incorporate security into our infrastructure design and application design processes. Daily activities include: network and application security and monitoring; vulnerability scanning and remediation, risk analysis; reporting; incident response; and implementation and maintenance of information security controls.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly security monitoring tasks and handle issues that are uncovered by various internal monitoring tools;
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct targeted review of suspect areas;
  • Assist in the design and operation of the security operations center and security information and event management (siem);
  • Must be able to develop user cases to identity and respond to malicious events in real-time;
  • Review client requests for information security best practices as part of an approval process for various avenues of change (firewall requests, tool access);
  • Assist in the creation of an end-to-end technology strategy for seim to address current and future security concerns, emerging threats, regulatory compliance and alignment with technology and the business;
  • Keep us on the leading edge with respect to knowledge of security threats (including web, mobile and desktop applications), vulnerabilities and controls, and assess their applicability to our business initiatives and business strategies;
  • Work with audit and risk management to provide evidence of above activities as required;
  • Manage minor projects / tasks and provide regular reports on progress;
  • Technological survey, vulnerability survey;
  • Perform other duties, as assigned;
  • Provide security support out of hours.
What Is Required:
Experience We Look For:
  • A broad knowledge of linux (redhat and debian familly) platforms and operating system fundamentals;
  • Tomcat/java - good understanding and troubleshooting experience is a serious advantage;
  • Apache, load balancing, high availability, clustering, networking;
  • Scripting (bash/perl/python);
  • Mysql and/or sql general knowledge;
  • A very strong understanding of networks protocol, routing/switching, firewall, loadbalancing,vpn - (vendor agnostic);
  • Strong knowledge on security tools like ids, ips, sniffer, vulnerability scanner, log analysis, intrusion detection, rootkit;
  • Ability to implement and troubleshoot common technologies based on protocols such as http, https, ssh;
  • Ability to diagnose network-related faults and performance issues;
  • Understanding of java virtual machines, monitoring and performance tuning;
  • Ability to automate common tasks via scripting – bash/perl;
  • Understanding of itil concepts, including the management of incidents and implementation of change;
  • Broad understanding of network security.
  • Knowledge and experience of network and server monitoring software – zabbix;
  • Experience with security information event and threat monitoring – alert logic;
  • Experience with anti-virus for server;
  • Understanding of malware, attack vectors, and impact;
