Internship – Engineering Intern - Supply Chain
Your future starts here
Are you excited by how data, connected systems and new technologies are transforming factories, plants and industrial operations? Do you want to help bring those solutions to life?
As an Engineering Intern at Accenture, you will support clients on their digital transformation journey: reinventing how products are designed, engineered, manufactured and distributed to boost efficiency, sustainability and growth. You will work with cross-functional teams on both strategic assessments and implementation projects, combining business analysis with hands-on data work.
Our team
Our Supply Chain & Engineering team sits at the intersection of business, technology and industry. We help clients across sectors such as utilities, chemicals, life sciences, semiconductor, energy, industrial equipment and construction, consumer goods, and transport and infrastructure to become more efficient, resilient, sustainable and connected.
Our work spans the full lifecycle: from strategic assessments, value stream mapping and process redesign, to designing and implementing solutions across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance and master data. We combine deep industry insight, design thinking and the latest technologies, including enterprise platforms, data and AI, and manufacturing systems, to deliver real, tangible impact.
What you’ll do
- Support strategic assessments and implementation projects focused on smarter, more connected and more sustainable production
- Help analyse current processes and systems, for example through value stream mapping and requirement analysis, and compare them with industry best practices
- Assist in solution design, including blueprints, data models and infrastructure design, for projects such as manufacturing execution systems (MES) and industrial data platforms
- Help build data solutions, pipelines and dashboards that turn operational data into insights
- Take part in client workshops and help translate business requirements into functional solutions
- Support testing of prototypes, demonstrations to business stakeholders and the move of solutions into production
- Contribute to change management activities that help client teams adopt new ways of working
- Research technology trends and innovations, and help develop new offerings and solutions
