As an Insurance Management Consultant, you will work with leading insurance clients to solve complex business challenges, improve operational performance, and drive business and digital transformation. You will contribute to consulting engagements spanning strategy, operating model transformation, customer experience, distribution, digital innovation, and process optimization.
A particular area of interest for this role is Life Insurance. We are looking for candidates who have developed knowledge of the life insurance industry through previous work experience, internships, academic specialization, or personal interest. This may include topics such as savings and investment products, protection products, pensions, underwriting, claims, distribution, or life insurance operations.
Whether you are a recent graduate with relevant exposure to the insurance sector or an early-career professional with a few years of experience, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced consultants and industry specialists while building your expertise through challenging client assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of strategic, operational, and digital transformation projects for insurance clients
- Analyze business processes, customer journeys, and operating models to identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct market research, business analysis, benchmarking, and data-driven assessments
- Prepare client presentations, reports, business cases, and workshop materials
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Contribute to transformation initiatives across areas such as customer experience, operational excellence, digitalization, and innovation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams combining business, technology, and industry expertise
- Support business development activities, including market research, proposal preparation, and thought leadership initiatives
- Stay up to date with developments in the life insurance market and emerging technologies shaping the industry
Job Qualifications
Your Background
We are looking for motivated individuals who combine strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in insurance and transformation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in consulting, insurance, financial services, project management, business analysis, or transformation
- Demonstrated interest, exposure, or knowledge of Life Insurance through professional experience, internships, university projects, coursework, or extracurricular activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to structure complex problems and develop pragmatic solutions
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
- Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and a collaborative approach
