Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the application lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands proactive problem-solving, continuous collaboration, and overseeing the integration of components to deliver robust and efficient software products. The engineer acts as the central liaison, facilitating communication and driving progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize workflows and enhance overall project efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText ECM Tools.
- Experience in application design, development, and configuration within enterprise content management environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Capability to lead technical discussions and provide clear guidance to team members.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in OpenText ECM Tools.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
