ROLE PURPOSE

Help lead ANZ industry marketing, build APAC CMT authority, mobilise teams around shared opportunities and stay close enough to execution to make the work land.

The Role

The Industry Marketing Lead – ANZ is a dual-role position within Accenture’s APAC Industry Marketing team. You’ll help drive industry marketing across Australia and New Zealand while also serving as the team’s APAC specialist for the Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) sector, spanning communications, media, telecommunications, software & platforms, and high tech.

In your ANZ market role, you’ll help bring Accenture’s industry expertise to life in ways that are relevant to local clients and business priorities. Working closely with Industry & Enterprise leaders, fellow Industry Marketing leads and specialist marketing teams, you’ll identify priority opportunities, shape compelling industry narratives, and activate campaigns, thought leadership and content in market. Collaboration is central to the role, with ANZ priorities shaped and delivered through a connected approach across industries, teams and marketing capabilities.

In your APAC CMT industry specialist role, you’ll build deep knowledge of the sector and become a trusted advisor to colleagues across the region. You’ll stay close to industry trends, client priorities and market developments, connect with Accenture’s industry marketing networks globally and across APAC, North America and EMEA, and help translate the best of Accenture’s thinking and expertise into relevant opportunities across APAC markets.

This is a senior player-coach role for someone comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You’ll set direction, influence senior stakeholders, mobilise cross-functional teams and draw on specialist marketing capabilities to deliver against shared priorities. You’ll be expected to take ownership of outcomes and help turn strategy into action.

You’ll join a closely connected APAC Industry Marketing team that shares expertise, works collaboratively across markets and industries, and partners with specialist marketing teams to build a stronger and more distinctive industry presence across the region.

What Sets You Apart

Industry expertise and curiosity – You enjoy understanding what’s changing in an industry, what clients care about and where new opportunities are emerging. You can turn market insights into practical marketing action.

Ownership mindset – You take responsibility for outcomes, not just activities. You see work through from idea to execution and learning.

Commercial thinking – You connect marketing activity to business priorities, client opportunities and growth.

Collaborative leadership – You build strong relationships, influence without authority and bring people together to achieve shared goals. You’re equally comfortable taking the lead and contributing your expertise where someone else is leading.

Practical execution – You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved when needed. You balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and don’t see execution as someone else’s job.

Communication and storytelling – You can shape compelling narratives, create effective briefs and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.

Clarity and pace – You simplify complexity, make clear recommendations and help move work forward.

Experience – You have 15+ years of marketing experience in industry marketing, campaign strategy, thought leadership, market development or a related field. Experience in Communications, Media & Technology is valuable, but curiosity and the ability to quickly build deep industry expertise are equally important.
