Data & AI Team Overview
Our Data & AI team within Accenture Song focuses on helping clients drive performance optimisation through deep customer insights and implementation of the latest Data & AI capabilities across the Marketing and Service value chain. The team collaborates with clients to accelerate the experimentation lifecycle, deepen understanding of key customer value drivers, improve business outcomes, and drive innovation across industries.

Overview of the Practice

The service unit consists of a wide range of business functions and industry groups, and in the Data & AI team we work from Strategy to Implementation where Data and AI are the focal points.
As a Customer AI Product Owner, you will:
Establish the strategic direction for AI-driven customer solutions aligned with client objectives and evolving market trends.
Translate business needs into AI product requirements and prioritise features and shape the roadmap to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and act as central point between business units, technology teams, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.
Document and communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and clients.
Integrate ethical AI principles and compliance standards into product design and deployment.
Monitor performance and drive Continuous Improvement with KPI performance tracking, data-driven insights and features iterations on evolving customer needs
Drive consulting excellence and strategic programme leadership, own client relationships, serve as a strategic partner, ensuring client needs are met

Support internal objectives through development of methodology, best practices and mentoring in AI product domain and act as product expert in proposals to drive growth in AI offerings.
Desirable skills, qualifications, and experience:
B.Sc./B.Eng./M.Sc./M.Eng./PhD degree(s) in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Data Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, defining the product strategy, roadmap and leading a cross-expertise team to deliver AI products or data products.
Experience with ML, AI, Generative AI, or data-driven products and strong understanding of different AI systems, cloud integration and microservices architecture.
Expertise in aligning cross-functional teams and managing products, leveraging Data & AI capabilities, exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Shown expertise in articulating technical concepts and analysis to non-technical business leaders and driving adoption of AI solutions.
Advanced proficiency in product management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
Strong knowledge of cloud AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker and Bedrock, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce Einstein...).
Shown experience with customer experience platforms, marketing, CRM or CDP systems.
Set yourself apart:
Practical exposure to deploying AI products – specifically Generative AI or Agentic AI approaches, understanding of CI/CD, monitoring and lifecycle management.
Knowledge of recommendation engines, predictive analytics, virtual assistants, sentiment analysis or other Customer-related AI products.
Experience of driving value, organisational change and adoption of AI across client organisations.
Proven history of working on customer-centric projects in a top tier consulting firm or internal marketing strategy team.
Track record of shaping winning proposals and influencing C-suite decisions.
