The Opportunity

At Accenture Song, we believe the future belongs to those who reinvent it.

We bring together creativity, data and technology to reimagine how media delivers growth, effectiveness and innovation.

We’re looking for an experienced Implementation Director to lead the implementation and delivery of integrated media campaigns across traditional and digital channels. You’ll connect media strategy and planning with activation, ensuring campaigns are translated into accurate, effective and commercially responsible implementation plans.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how media plans come to life. You’ll oversee campaign implementation, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and establish the processes required to deliver consistently high-quality work.

What You’ll Do

Lead Media Implementation

  • Lead the development of integrated implementation plans across traditional and digital media.
  • Translate approved media strategies into clear, actionable campaign requirements.
  • Ensure implementation recommendations reflect audience behaviour, channel roles, campaign objectives and available budgets.
  • Oversee campaign setup, bookings, trafficking, activation and delivery.
  • Ensure consistency between approved plans, media bookings and live campaign activity.
  • Review implementation plans for accuracy, completeness and alignment with the agreed strategy.
  • Coordinate campaign changes, cancellations and optimisation requirements.

Connect Planning with Activation

  • Partner with Strategy, Planning, Performance and Investment teams to ensure ideas translate effectively into market.
  • Support an integrated approach across television, BVOD, out-of-home, audio, digital and biddable media.
  • Bring together offline and digital implementation teams around a single campaign direction.
  • Identify implementation risks early and establish practical solutions before campaign delivery is affected.
  • Provide clear implementation guidance to clients, internal teams and media partners.

Drive Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee campaign pacing, delivery and implementation quality throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Establish consistent workflows, quality checks and escalation processes.
  • Ensure campaign documentation, budgets, schedules and platform information remain accurate and current.
  • Support the resolution of discrepancies between planned, booked, invoiced and delivered media activity.
  • Oversee campaign reporting, post-campaign analysis and the translation of delivery insights into future planning.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations teams to improve automation, connectivity and operational efficiency.
  • Champion the use of data and technology to create faster, more transparent implementation processes.

Manage Media Partner Relationships

  • Build productive working relationships with media owners, platform partners and technology providers.
  • Coordinate campaign requirements, specifications, deadlines and delivery expectations with external partners.
  • Support negotiations and value delivery across relevant media channels.
  • Ensure agreed pricing, placements and campaign commitments are accurately reflected in implementation.
  • Work with partners to resolve delivery issues and identify opportunities for innovation.

Lead & Develop the Team

  • Lead implementation specialists working across traditional, digital and biddable media.
  • Establish clear responsibilities and ways of working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Coach team members and support the development of technical and operational capability.
  • Create an environment of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Promote high standards of accuracy, communication and campaign management.
  • Foster strong collaboration across Strategy, Planning, Performance, Technology and Operations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience in media implementation, planning, buying or campaign operations within a media agency or similarly complex environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape across traditional and digital channels.
  • Experience overseeing integrated campaigns across television, BVOD, out-of-home, audio, digital and biddable media.
  • A strong understanding of the end-to-end media campaign lifecycle, from approved plan through to activation, delivery and reconciliation.
  • Experience leading campaign implementation and coordinating multiple teams, channels and workstreams.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy across complex campaigns.
  • Confidence working with media budgets, schedules, bookings, delivery data and reporting.
  • Experience managing senior client, internal stakeholder and media partner relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively when campaign requirements change.
  • An understanding of media systems, workflow automation and technology-enabled campaign delivery.
  • Experience coaching and developing media professionals.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to provide practical, well-supported recommendations.

What Success Looks Like

Implementation plans are accurate, integrated and ready to activate. Campaign requirements are clearly understood across internal teams, clients and media partners.

Delivery issues are identified early and resolved with minimal disruption. Campaign documentation, budgets and bookings remain consistent throughout the campaign lifecycle.

The implementation team operates with clarity and accountability, while strategy, planning, investment, performance and operations remain connected around the same client objectives.

Most importantly, campaigns move into market smoothly and deliver against the outcomes they were designed to achieve.
