My work life consists of managing client transformation. I’m involved in these journeys from beginning to end, or in other words, from sales to delivery.
Once a project starts, I engage the client and our Accenture team in talks to ensure a feasible and practicable journey. I make sure the project supports client business needs and delivers sustainable value.
During implementation, I monitor our team’s progress and performance. I troubleshoot issues and generally keep the project on-budget and on-schedule to mitigate risks. I also organize team-building activities, so our people can bond and have fun while delivering their best work.
All these efforts have helped turn my projects into exciting and fulfilling memories. I enjoy the challenge of problem-solving any issue that comes my way. I also love learning new insights from both positive and negative situations. Each project sharpens and grows my skillset, equipping me to undertake more and bigger transformation projects for clients.
Nonetheless, my first assignment at Accenture still takes pride of place in my heart. I managed Thailand’s first digital refinery project, a complex task that involved development of multiple applications, plus IT infrastructure setup. At first, I encountered difficulties with misaligned project methodology and client requirements. I decided to communicate with the client and project teams to bring them both on the same page. This immediately improved awareness and understanding on both sides, leading to successful transformation delivery.
Following that project, I made sure to avail of the endless flow of opportunities for growth at Accenture. I tried different roles, including that of interior designer! This took place when I managed the IT One Innovation Lab Project. My role included ensuring the interior design reflected our company culture of agile innovation, flexibility and fun.
I am proud of our vibrant culture, which has sustained our ability to support clients as well as each other amid the pandemic. My team and I work safely from home and safeguard our health using Accenture’s health kits. We also keep our spirits high by getting together virtually. We’d order food for delivery to each other’s houses, then eat and bond via Microsoft Teams.
Juggling my work and family life keeps me so busy. However, I set aside time for exercise to avoid getting sick and end up missing out on rewarding work and time with loved ones. I take care of myself first, so I can take care of my family, my team and our clients.
