Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple system elements to maintain business continuity and support operational efficiency, often requiring creative problem-solving and collaboration with diverse teams to address complex challenges effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline support processes and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Energy.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level software applications.
- Excellent communication skills to document issues and solutions clearly.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
