Timeline
28 November to 23 December 2022: Registration
- Gather a team of four to five members from your university and register.
- Submit one application as a team during registration, and teams with the most impressive ideas will be shortlisted to compete in the University Innovation Challenge 2023.
2 January 2023: Announcement of shortlisted teams
- Shortlisted teams will be notified via call and/or e-mail by this date.
- If there is any withdrawal of members after registration, each team must have at least four members to remain eligible for the competition.

Location
The challenge will take place at the Accenture Singapore office located at Raffles City Tower, Level 35.
Evaluation criteria
There are 3 evaluation rounds in this University Innovation Challenge.
Evaluation Round 1 - Registration
During the registration process, each team will be required to submit one application. Based on your response, 12 exceptional teams will be shortlisted to compete in the University Innovation Challenge 2023.
Evaluation Round 2 - Semi-finals
The 12 selected teams will refine their ideas with mentoring from experts over 1.5 weeks before pitching for a spot in the finals.
Evaluation Round 3 - Final Round
This is the final round, where the top 6 teams will present their winning ideas to our team of judges and convince them why their solution is the best way forward. In this round, the public will also be invited to vote for the best idea and contribute to the final results of the University Innovation Challenge 2023.
The qualifying teams and the winner of the Innovation Challenge 2023 will be chosen based on the following considering factors:
Originality of idea
- How original is the idea?
Resourcefulness
- How resourceful is the team based on depth, quality and sources of research, and ability to leverage on tips from mentors.
Clarity of narration
- How clear is the idea articulated.
Feasibility and In-Depth-thinking
- How feasible are the ideas and the level of thinking.
