My day typically starts with a standup call, catching up with my team on the status of our projects while having a cup of coffee. This meeting lets me know what I need to achieve for the day and allows me to check in on my team’s well-being. Since we’re all working from home, it’s important to have frequent connects. Having constant communication helps us form greater bonds and enables us to better collaborate. For the rest of the day, you’ll find me brainstorming with stakeholders or planning projects and exchanging ideas with my team.
One of the best things about the Accenture Interactive is the culture. Back in the office, we have an open space setup where everyone sits together and collaborates. Having an in-house office barista who brews the best coffee is also a big plus!
We have a social squad who organizes quarterly synergy meetings and monthly knowledge sharing sessions. Our get-togethers help us connect with our teammates across Southeast Asia (SEA) and know the latest happenings in Interactive. Our onboarding and welcoming committees also do a great job of making new joiners feel at ease from the onset.
I’m an active member of Accenture’s Recreational Club that organizes a wide range of activities for employees. Some of our past events include free movie screenings, wine tasting, beer brewery tours, cooking classes and more. Additionally, I’m part of the Accenture Dragons, representing our company in dragon boat racing competitions. I also lead a special interest group that participates in Spartan Races, a series of obstacle course races, in SEA. We’ve also organized a hiking trip to Mount Rinjani, rock climbing sessions and a fitness challenge.
