SAP FICO (Manager- Director)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Manager–Director to lead large-scale SAP Finance transformation programs and end-to-end SAP implementations. This role will be responsible for driving solution strategy, delivery excellence, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation initiatives across complex, enterprise-wide SAP landscapes.
As a senior leader, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP Finance solutions that enable operational efficiency, financial transparency, and long-term business value. You will also play a key role in growing teams, developing talent, and supporting business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end SAP FICO and S/4HANA Finance transformation programs from strategy and design through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Drive solution architecture and functional design across Finance and Controlling processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Internal Orders, and Financial Planning.
• Manage large-scale global or regional SAP implementation projects, ensuring delivery quality, budget adherence, risk management, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define transformation roadmaps, process improvements, and future-state operating models.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops, solution design sessions, fit-gap assessments, testing, data migration, training, and change management activities.
• Provide trusted advisory support to senior executives and business stakeholders on SAP Finance modernization initiatives.
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing SAP consulting and delivery teams across multiple project workstreams.
• Support business growth through solution shaping, proposal development, client presentations, and pursuit activities.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP Finance consulting, implementation, or transformation programs.
• Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations, including large-scale enterprise deployments.
• Deep expertise in SAP FICO and strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong knowledge of finance business processes, accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
• Experience engaging with senior leadership, including Finance Directors, Controllers, CFO organizations, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance greenfield, brownfield, or selective transformation programs.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO, or related SAP certifications.
• Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP BPC.
• Experience leading regional or global transformation programs across multiple countries.
• Consulting experience in professional services or large enterprise transformation environments.
