About the Role

We are seeking a Japanese-speaking HR Service Delivery Associate/Analyst to support HR operations and service delivery across the employee lifecycle. This role helps deliver accurate, timely, and compliant HR processing while partnering with employees, HR Business Partners, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across locations.

The successful candidate will handle inquiries, process HR transactions, manage case updates, support reporting, and identify process improvement opportunities that strengthen operational efficiency and the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound inquiries from employees and cross-functional teams, identify needs, process required HR transactions in enterprise HR and case management systems, and escalate complex issues as needed.

  • Process HR cases across employee lifecycle activities, which may include international exits, leaves, payroll and HR Compliance-related cases.

  • Gather data and work with employees, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional teams to complete HR processing accurately and within expected service standards.

  • Serve as a primary contact for processing needs, stakeholder inquiries, and processing team service level agreements.

  • Provide regular reporting on work status, operational progress, risks, and issues, and escalate matters to project management when required.

  • Prepare and deliver weekly updates to the management team on workload, trends, risks, and service delivery progress.

  • Schedule and drive meetings with relevant parties to resolve processing issues, align on next steps, and support timely completion of work.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities, compile process information for training, and maintain process documentation by tracking changes and driving updates according to team lead directives.

What we need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficiency in Japanese language at JLPT N2 level or above, required as this role involves regular communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders.

  • Experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HR Administration, Employee Services, People Operations, or a related HR service delivery function.

  • Experience processing HR transactions, managing employee lifecycle cases, and working with HR systems or case management platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, prepare operational updates, and escalate risks and issues appropriately in a service delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting geographically distributed HR Business Partners or regional HR operations teams.

  • Familiarity with shared services, project-based operations, or business process delivery environments.

  • Experience preparing management updates, operational reports, SLA tracking, or process documentation.

  • Knowledge of employee records management, HR compliance, data governance, and operational controls.

  • Continuous improvement, training documentation, or process optimization experience.
