About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage Oracle database solutions to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
• Configure and support Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions for database encryption and secure key management.
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) configurations to support business continuity and minimize downtime.
• Manage database backup onboarding activities, including backup configuration, validation, recovery testing, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot database incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution within service level commitments.
• Support database patching, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance activities while adhering to security and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration.
• Proven experience in setting up and configuring Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing and managing Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions.
• Experience with Oracle High Availability (HA) architectures and solutions.
• Strong experience in backup onboarding, backup administration, recovery planning, and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience with database monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Knowledge of database security, encryption technologies, and access management controls.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and backup technologies such as RMAN.
• Experience supporting Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using Shell, Python, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments.
