Global Services Legal (GSL) is a group of legal professionals supporting various Accenture service lines and strategic growth initiative areas, including our sustainability business.
We are a diverse team and our team’s mission is to help our business to grow in a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable way, by providing early-stage legal advice and support in relation to the key business strategies and priorities.
The GSL Team is now looking for a Legal Professional to join GSL’s Sustainability Legal Team.

Qualifications
Specific Responsibilities aligned to Role
The Legal Professional will team with the Global Legal Lead for Sustainability and coordinate with other Legal teams across Accenture on projects and tasks which support Sustainability Services and to build “knowledge capital” resources for internal Legal use. The Legal Professional will work on projects including the following:
Offerings & Solutions:
- Help to carry out a legal review and analysis of any new sustainability services, offerings, and solutions to spot any potential legal issues and risks relating to them. Make recommendations and create guidance to business that help the business to manage and mitigate the risks, while enabling desired outcomes for the business;
Regulatory Compliance:
- Research Sustainability/ESG regulations in applicable geographies and draft business-friendly summaries and analyses of the same. Provide regulatory compliance reviews & advice to applicable geographies, including future-looking projections of any anticipated regulatory changes with potential impact on the Sustainability Services business; and
Client Opportunities:
- Enable Accenture’s contracting legal team to efficiently handle day-to-day contracting on Sustainability Offerings. Help to create and provide contracting tools such as guidance, training and templates to Sustainability and legal teams. Support relevant Sustainability Services-related approvals and escalations.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Used to technology, including MS Teams
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- 6 to 10 years of experience at law firm or as in-house counsel and/or in legal outsourcing
- Fluency in English (and ideally in at least one other language).
