Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Program Scheduler, ANS
THE WORK:
- You’ll develop and maintain comprehensive program master schedules, identifying project interdependencies, logic, milestones, and constraints for a large Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
- You’ll regularly perform QA/QC reviews on program master schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
- You’ll perform status updates for program master schedules on a regular basis.
- You’ll review contractor baseline schedule submissions to verify that all work scopes are properly identified and logically sequenced, providing detailed written comments and feedback to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual timelines.
- You’ll perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on contractor schedule submittals, ensuring conformance with the contract and reviewing critical path, cost loading, schedule content, recovery schedules, logic relationships, lags, constraints, and milestones for accuracy and completeness.
- You’ll perform time impact analyses for changes affecting the construction schedule and participate in negotiations between the client Project Manager and contractors to resolve delay time settlements and mitigate schedule impacts.
- You’ll conduct regular analysis to ensure construction projects remain on track and meet time and budget requirements, providing reports and KPIs to identify potential issues, corrective actions, or opportunities to advance the schedule.
- You’ll read contract drawings to determine whether work is in or out of scope and interpret contract terms and conditions to assess the merit of compensable or non‑compensable time extensions.
- You’ll effectively communicate with the project team regarding schedule or progress-related issues or concerns during regular schedule meetings.
- You’ll prepare reports as needed and as directed by the Program Management Team.
- You’ll visit construction sites, attend meetings, and review the contractor’s monthly progress as needed.
$130,000 - $150,000 a year
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in creating, updating, and maintaining program schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 for public agency CIP projects.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6, some Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in organizing, implementing, and maintenance of multiple projects and program schedules in scheduling management system (P6).
- Proven ability to interact with project team and task managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules and identification of variances from original plan.
- Effective collaboration skills with project teams to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress.
- Experience with alternative project delivery methods such as CMAR, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build preferred.
