Network Engineer
We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless technologies, and network security. You should be a proactive and customer-focused professional who can work independently, handle medium-complexity technical tasks, and respond effectively to incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Experience in area of Layer2/Layer3 Switching and Routing and Firewalling with focus on Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Juniper platforms
- Understanding of WIFI Technology based on Cisco and Aruba
- Fair understanding of networking concepts and components (DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls, switches, routers, etc.)
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP services.
- Understanding of network security principles.
- Ability to work independently on the medium complexity tasks.
- Good organizational skills; working with minimum supervision.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Ability to work with and meet tight deadlines
- Understanding of ITIL service management concepts
- Deeper knowledge about at least one network speciality
- Good communication skills
- Proactive customer approach
- Self-reliance
- Professional attitude to the clients
- Readiness to on call support on a rotation basis
- After hours work may be required to meet SLA timeline, fault resolution and change implementation.
- Travel to other Accenture offices if needed
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years professional “hands-on” experience in networking technologies
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
Experience in following areas is an advantage:
- Security architectures/technologies
- ISO27001, ITIL
- Cisco network and voice technologies, Juniper network technologies
- Network Management and Monitoring systems
- Building Databases, programming and scripts creating
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
