You Are
As an Accenture Security Senior Manager in a Security Account Lead (SAL) role you will be dedicated to 3-5 client accounts across industries in our CMT Practice - covering the telecommunications, media, high tech, semiconductor, and software industries. You will bring a strong innovation mindset, actively leading AI-driven security initiatives that modernize clients' cybersecurity capabilities while enabling business growth, resilience, and digital reinvention. You will work to build delivery teams that create maximum client value; proactively build relationships with the client a dedicated Client Account Teams; drive profitable and durable business growth; and participate in account planning and stay engaged with account through account status calls, activities.
Your passion will drive you to bring new ideas to your client by growing your network across Accenture and understanding the newest thought leadership that Accenture is introducing to our clients. Your business sense will drive you to be responsible for identifying, closing, leading, and managing new complex security engagements. You’ll provide subject matter expertise and driving delivery execution as the primary point of client coordination. You will drive pipeline hygiene across your focus area, lead RFP responses, and hold monthly meetings with industry leads. You will learn and be able to share Accenture Security’s Go to Market Strategy with clients.
The Work
Security Senior Managers are expected to possess extensive experience in the following:
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Business development responsibilities including but not limited to origination, and relationship development
Working directly with clients and Accenture teams to design and implement program strategies for cybersecurity
Translating technical requirements into business terms for executive stakeholders
Lead the sale and delivery of Security services across multiple clients
Qualification and definition of Security opportunities through discussions with client executives and senior leadership
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage business development / proposal efforts RFP/RFI/RFQ
Lead development of written and oral client proposals
Assist with driving the overall CMT Security pipeline growth
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here is What You Need

Minimum 5 years of experience / knowledge dealing with security issues and vulnerability trends in the telecommunications, media, high tech, semiconductor, or software industries

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management principles and project quality methods (Agile)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 years work experience)

Minimum 5 years of experience/knowledge of Security vendors and Security product capabilities

Minimum 5 years of experience/ability to lead and manage business development/proposal efforts RFP/RFI/RFQ.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Security and Privacy and the ideal candidate would have a mix of some of these capabilities:
-Cyber GRC
- Privacy
-Third-party risk management
-Vulnerability management
-Penetration testing
-GenAI for Security and Privacy
Bonus points if you have

Comms, Media or Tech experience and relationships with West coast clients

Industry recognized Professional Security certification preferred (CISSP, CIPP/IT, CRISC).
Professional Skills Requirement

Ability to lead a team and counsel others is a must

Experience in building client relationships utilizing strong communications skills (both verbal and written)

Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to independently drive proactive business development while managing to metric achievement across a broad portfolio of work

Experience translating business objectives into actionable programs with defined scope, budget, and timeline.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
